Die Kampange basiert auf Multimedia (Homepage, Social Networks, Facebook, Twitter) mit Schwerpunkt auf ein Video. VerTrend Media Production übernimmt die Vertonung des Videos für die Deutsche und die Spanische Sprache.

Bereits Anfang 2009 wurden testweise Leihfilme von YouTube angeboten. Schon Ende des Jahres könnte das Angebot starten. Ein Film soll rund 5 Dollar kosten.

Obwohl Netflix und Hulu ähnliche Angebote haben, glauben Studiobosse wegen der großen Marktmacht von Mutter Google, an den Erfolg.

Es kommt ein Schauspieler und die Diskussion, über den Namen und weitere Filme, kann schon beginnen. Im Endeffekt kommt es oft dazu, dass jemand den Computer aufdreht und im Internet nachliest. Nicht so in Zukunft!

    Google will TV und WEB miteinander verschmelzen.

    In Zukunft wird es möglich sein mit GoogleTV einfacher Informationen über Schauspieler oder Filme zu sammeln. Über eine Bild-im-Bild Funktion werden die gewünschten Informationen, ohne den Film zu unterbrechen, aus dem Internet geladen und in einem kleinen Fenster angezeigt. Während einem Sportereignis kann man zum Beispiel auch die Quoten oder Statistiken über das Fenster anzeigen lassen.

    Im Herbst wird Sony die ersten Fernsehgeräte mit GoogleTV auf den Markt bringen,  Logitech dazu die entsprechenden Set-Top Boxen.
